Flights from Haneda Airport to Akita Airport take only 1 hour and 5 minutes, which is the fastest way to reach Akita, ideal for those short on time.
🚌 By Night Bus (Most Budget-Friendly)
Night buses from Tokyo Station Yaesu South Exit to Akita Station take approximately 8 hours and 40 minutes, the most affordable option for budget-conscious travelers.
🚗 By Car (For Road Trip Lovers)
Driving from Tokyo to Akita takes about 7 hours via highways. This option is great for those who enjoy flexible travel and scenic road trips.

I went to Akita last autumn of November 2024. It was really healing- the forest quiet walks and middle of nowhere onsens, slow pace and hospitality is amazing. I was comforted in so many ways. And their Sake is wonderful too!
